It's saving the tags... it's saving the tags... it hasn't saved the tags

Personal technorati tags hasn't really worked. Maybe the technorati ping function only works with brand new posts. Oh well, I've decided to scrap the usage of personal tags and go with a del.icio.us / technorati tag combo as I've read elsewhere on the web. For now I'm using the somewhat inefficient bookmarklets to generate html code for tags and to post to del.icio.us -- I didn't want to really add more buttons just for the bookmarking service -- but I'll probably go looking into a firefox extension I've heard called Performancing and see if that can't reduce the number of trips I make per blog post down to one instead of three.

Since my first post doesn't have the tags show up in my technorati profile, let's try a brand new post.
